What operating systems does Software Agent work with?

To execute our Software Agent, you need one of the following minimum requirements: Windows® 98, Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows® Millennium Edition (Windows Me), Windows Vista (all versions) or Windows NT® 4 (Workstation or Server) with Service Pack 6a, Windows® 2000 (Professional, Server, or Advanced Server), Windows® XP (Home or Professional), or Windows® Server 2003 family and Windows Vista.
Hardware recommended requirement : CPU: Pentium 500 MHz Memory: 64 MB RAM; CD-ROM 30 MB free hard drive space with ADSL connection (only required for product activation)

Where can I get DPS Software Agent?
|
|
You can registered in DPS website and purchase our DPS package. Each package comes with a Software Agent CD-ROM and some tokens. You can apply DPS technology to your application by following the step by step installation instructions. Or you can download it from http://www.dps-worldwide.com/support_downloads.aspx Please be reminded that the Software Agent is specially designed to work with DPS token, you cannot apply the technology without DPS tokens or use other tokens.

When the Software Agent cannot run, what should I do?
|
|
If you decided not to use Software Agent, you can uninstall it by selecting “DPS Software Agent” Section, then click "Uninstall" on the Windows® Start menu. If you want to re-install the Software Agent, we recommend you to uninstall the existing Software Agent first, then download a updated copy from our website. What happens when the license period is over?
|
|
In every DPS package, the license or usage period of Software Agent, CALs, Token Drivers and Tokens’ maintenance is normally 12 months. You can renew or extend the license period on yearly basis. Before the license is over, our customer service department will email you a notification to remind you. Or you can check your license information in Software Agent or login to our website. Normally, we will post you a remind letter before 30 days upon license expiry. To continue your DPS service, we recommend you to renew the CALs and order new tokens before the license period is over. How can I control and manage my token easily through online operation ?
|

After you installed the DPS Software Agent, or you can login to DPS Website to manage your tokens, including activation, management, adjustment the tokens, download the new packet files, etc..

Does the renewal procedure disturb my work?
|
|
After you paid the CALs, you can get a new packet file from us. Download it and copy it into your system. The authentication process will be updated easily.
